HISTORY  OF  CHRISTIAN GUEST HOUSES ASSOCIATION OF KENYA.

CGHAK was founded on 19^th Feb 2015. 

It was after an analysis of the situation that Christian Guest Houses operate as independent entities. There was only communication when need arose like guests overflows.

PROPOSAL FOR AN ASSOCIATION 

Why an Association?

An association is an organized group of people who have some common objectives. Without a group of people no association can be formed.

CGHAK found that Christian Guest Houses had everything in common and teaming together would:

• Draw strength in numbers as they share in the common interest of offering hospitality services in the Christian Guest Houses.
• Bring all Christian guest houses under one umbrella that can pursue common goals and interests.
• Market Christian Guest Houses locally and internationally through pulled efforts, resources and bargaining power.
• Be a force and a voice to reckon with.
• As an association take ownership of Christian Guest Houses interests and fulfill the dreams of the vision bearers of the various institutions represented.
• Enhance provision of services with Christian values and the spirit of which the facilities were founded.
• Appreciate that they have capacity to attract their niche market from all over the world and still not have enough capacity for this market.
• Realize that together we are stronger and complement each other.
• Engage easily with one another.
• Share challenges in the industry through forums that will enable members come up with solutions to enhance the Christian facilities image. (eg security & Christian values)
• Engage with organizations that share in related areas of interests.
• Fulfill and see scriptures manifested.

    when God’s people live together in unity!… For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

Hence the formation of Christian Guest Houses Association of kenya.
